There once was a nineteen-year-old girl from Umeå who was very gifted in the natural sciences. Already in her high school years, she was offered employment in the University’s research group in biochemistry. When she started her university full-time studies in biochemistry in August 2025, she continued to work parallel in the research group. But her parents are born in Egypt and as a result of the current Swedish regime’s migration politics she is not considered to be a sufficiently good citizen. Even though her team leader demonstrated that she was a necessary resource in the research group, she got deported to Egypt – alone.
