Boghiguian
Anna Boghigiuan was born in Cairo in 1946 to
Armenian/Egyptian parents. She graduated in 1969
from the American University in Cairo in
Economics and Political Science. She studied art
under the patronage of the great artist Fouad
Kamel.Anna Boghigiuan obtained her BFA in visual
art and music from Concordia University in
Montreal, Canada. She held exhibitions in Egypt,
Yemen, Greece, Canada and France and has
illustrated many books including editions of
Ungaretti, Cavafy and for the Nobel laureate
Naguib Mahfouz. .

The Safar Khan Gallery, located
The Safar Khan Gallery, located in the heart of Zamalek - Cairo, is a landmark fine art gallery showing modern & contemporary Egyptian fine art. As one of the first private galleries that emerged in the 1980s, the Gallery first introduced pioneers as well as prominent Egyptian artists of the time mainly: Ragheb Ayad, Hamed Nada, Abdel Hadi El-Gazzar, & Nahmia Saad. The Gallery features regular exhibit openings for Cairo's art scene. Recently opened is Safar Khan El Gouna, on Egypts Red Sea Coast.
