Showing in the months of July, August and
September is a retrospective of a collection of
modern and contemporary Egyptian artists
representing different generations from the
1960’s till 2010.
Kamal
Khalifa the
avant
garde of post
expressionism with his modern portraits and
sculptures of the 1960’s.
Kamal El
Sarrag gives us a
musical variation of contemporary calligraphy
concentrating on the letter “S”.
Sarkis
Tossoonian
sculptures evoke a sense of elegance, grace and
texture in his bronze sculptures.

The Safar Khan Gallery, located
The SafarKhan Gallery, located in the heart of Zamalek - Cairo, is a landmark fine art gallery showing modern & contemporary Egyptian fine art. As one of the first private galleries that emerged in the 1980s, the Gallery first introduced pioneers as well as prominent Egyptian artists of the time mainly: Ragheb Ayad, Hamed Nada, Abdel Hadi El-Gazzar, & Nahmia Saad. The Gallery features regular exhibit openings for Cairo's art scene. Recently opened is SafarKhan El Gouna, on Egypts Red Sea Coast.
